The story of Luciano Cigars begins with passion: for people, creativity, and the extraordinary flavor found in carefully crafted premium cigars. Originally a nonprofit, what would become Luciano Cigars began as an initiative to provide fair wage jobs in the community of Esteli, Nicaragua.
After falling in love with the process of cigar-making and its people, and building a respectable reputation as manufacturers, we embarked on a new journey launching Ace Prime Cigars in 2019.
Today we see Luciano Cigars as the next phase for our company, now as an independent and fully vertical operation -- from growing and sourcing the best tobacco, to blending and producing award winning cigars.

Luciano Meirelles, Co-Founder and CEO
After more than a decade in the industry, Luciano now directs Luciano Cigars, a fully vertically-integrated company from seed to smoke. The co-founder and namesake of our company leads with passion for premium cigars and the people who make them.
Having built his career as a highly successful serial entrepreneur and political consultant, Luciano's name brings a commitment to working only at the highest standard of excellence.
Tiago Splitter, Co-Founder
Besides being a co-founder of Luciano Cigars, Tiago Splitter is best known as the first Brazilian-born player to ever win an NBA championship in 2014 with the San Antonio Spurs. With an extraordinary career that spanned across continents, Luciano Cigars is proud to have Tiago Splitter now on our team.
After retiring from the Spurs, Tiago has now focused on his career as an assistant coach for the Brooklyn Nets and as a co-founder of our company. Tiago is an inspiring embodiment of grit, passion, and a commitment to always elevating the values that matter most.
Our Process
The journey of each and every one of our cigars begins and ends with people. All of our cigars are hand-rolled at the Luciano Cigars Factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, before being shipped for distribution to our warehouse in West Palm Beach, FL.
We honor all of the lives involved in this artisanal craft. To be cigar makers is a great opportunity and privilege we humbly treasure.

When you first light a great cigar, a space of expectation is created, where the opportunity for discovery presents itself. You taste a great blend, and you will be enlightened -- both by delving into the complexity of flavors and with the possibility of introspection. It was with this sensorial and mindful journey in mind that the idea of Fiat Lux emerged: Let there be light.
This introspective exploration is exemplified in four distinct sizes. The Insight, Acumen, Genius and Intuition are distinct, and complementary, expressions of this search for enlightenment.
Inspired by the book "The Artisan Soul" (Erwin McManus), The Dreamer is a cigar that innovates in every possible way. Created to parallel the unique human capacity of dreaming, The Dreamer beckons any who smoke it to explore their own abilities of imagining what does not yet exist. In between flavors of chocolate and a bit of spice, this cigar is an invitation towards the future.
Originally a limited edition cigar, The Dreamer's success led to the lancero becoming a regular production in four sizes. A cigar that is truly an experience, The Dreamer will allow your mind to wander and perhaps allow you to embark on a journey towards dreaming of something New.

MAS IGNEUS is a Catalan expression that can be translated as "House of Ignition." It reflects exactly the essence of the creation of this unique and peculiar cigar. Once again Luciano Cigars innovates and develops a cigar that not only impresses with its balanced PH, medium-strong taste profile but has the traditional signature of its blender Luciano Meirelles: strength without aggression.
The intention was to develop a cigar that is a perfect match for the "M" wine from the traditional Mas Igneus Winery. In the heart of Priorat, Mas Igneus is located in one of the most exclusive wine-growing regions in the world, just 80 miles North of Barcelona, Spain.
This cigar tells a very common story - of grit, of passion and survival. It is inspired by the life of a woman who faced every struggle, but who, despite it all, could find the good at the end of every day. Maria Lucia was a woman whose strength and femininity always held hands. She was the flower that rises from cracked pavement, the beauty that survives brokenness, the redemption that overcomes tragedy.
When entrusted with the opportunity to blend a premium cigar to honor Maria Lucia, her son and Master Blender Luciano Meirelles sought to draw inspiration from her own intricate nature and personality. The cigar delivers an abundance of depth and complexity. It is both subtle and bold. Its strength is medium full, with the box press construction guaranteeing an easy, smoky draw.
Luciano Cigars is thrilled to announce the launch of the Fiat Lux Limited Edition Tenebrus and a new manufacturing collaboration with Plasencia's Tabacos de Oriente.
